Delicious and easy-to-make Blackstone Cinnamon Rolls cooked on a griddle, featuring a quick method to flatten and cook refrigerated cinnamon rolls to golden perfection, then topped with warm icing for a sweet breakfast treat.

Ingredients

Ingredients

  • 1 refrigerated cinnamon rolls (8 count can, 12.4 ounces)
  • 2 Tablespoons butter
  • Parchment paper square
  • Icing that comes with cinnamon rolls (as needed)

Instructions

  1. Preheat Griddle: Preheat your Blackstone griddle to low heat, approximately 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Using an infrared thermometer is the best way to accurately check the temperature.
  2. Grease Griddle: Once the griddle is hot, spread butter evenly across the cooking surface to prevent sticking and add flavor.
  3. Arrange Cinnamon Rolls: Separate the cinnamon rolls from the can and place each roll on the preheated griddle, leaving space between each roll for easy cooking.
  4. Flatten Rolls: Place a square piece of parchment paper on top of a cinnamon roll, then press down firmly with a griddle spatula to smash the roll flat. Peel off the parchment paper and repeat for all rolls.
  5. Cook First Side: Cook the flattened rolls for about 2 minutes or until the bottom side turns golden brown.
  6. Flip and Press: Flip each cinnamon roll over to the uncooked side. Press down with the griddle spatula (no parchment paper needed this time) and continue cooking for 2 to 3 minutes until cooked through.
  7. Remove and Stack: Take the cooked cinnamon rolls off the griddle and stack them neatly on a plate.
  8. Drizzle Icing: Warm up the icing that comes with the cinnamon rolls and drizzle it generously over the top of the rolls.
  9. Serve: Serve the cinnamon rolls immediately while warm and enjoy!

Notes

  • Use an infrared thermometer for accurate griddle temperature measurement.
  • Pressing the rolls flat helps them cook evenly and quickly on the griddle.
  • Butter adds flavor and prevents sticking on the griddle surface.
  • Serve immediately for the best texture and warmth.
