Ingredients

Simple Syrup

  • ¼ cup water
  • ¼ cup sugar (sugar in the raw recommended, but any will do)

Daiquiri

  • 2 ½ cups frozen strawberries
  • ½ cup fresh strawberries (destemmed)
  • Juice of 1 lime

Instructions

  1. Make the Simple Syrup: Add your water and sugar to a small pot on medium-low heat, stirring continuously until the sugar completely dissolves. Once melted, remove from the heat and set aside to cool. This syrup will sweeten your daiquiri perfectly.
  2. Blend the Ingredients: In a blender, combine the fresh and frozen strawberries, lime juice, and the prepared simple syrup. Blend on high speed until the mixture is smooth yet retains a frosty texture.
  3. Serve and Garnish: Pour the blended daiquiri into glasses. You may optionally garnish with a sugar rim, lime wheels, or fresh strawberries for an extra festive touch. Enjoy immediately!
