This refreshing Peach Lemonade recipe combines fresh peaches and homemade lemonade with a hint of mint for a perfectly sweet and tangy summer drink. Blended peaches add a smooth texture and vibrant flavor to classic lemonade, making it a delightful beverage for warm days and gatherings.

Ingredients

For the Lemonade

  • 1 recipe Homemade Lemonade (or 8 cups of your favorite lemonade)

For the Peach Lemonade

  • 45 fresh peaches
  • 1 tablespoon fresh mint, plus more for garnish

Instructions

  1. Prepare Lemonade: Prepare homemade lemonade according to your preferred recipe or use 8 cups of store-bought lemonade. Set aside or chill until ready to use.
  2. Prepare Peaches: Wash and slice the fresh peaches, removing the pits. Set aside ¼ of the peach slices for garnish and adding directly to the pitcher later.
  3. Blend Peaches: Place the remaining peach slices into a blender along with 1 cup of the prepared lemonade and 1 tablespoon of fresh mint. Blend until smooth. For a thinner consistency, strain the mixture through a fine sieve into a pitcher.
  4. Combine Ingredients: Add the blended peach mixture back into the pitcher with the remaining lemonade. Stir well to combine all flavors.
  5. Garnish and Serve: Add the reserved peach slices and lemon slices to the pitcher for a decorative and tasty touch. Garnish individual glasses with fresh mint leaves and peach slices. Serve over ice or add ice to the pitcher to keep the lemonade chilled without diluting it.

Notes

  • For a sweeter lemonade, add honey or sugar to taste while blending the peaches.
  • Use ripe peaches for the best natural sweetness and flavor.
  • You can prepare the lemonade base a day ahead and keep it refrigerated.
  • If preferred, substitute fresh mint with basil for a different herbal note.
  • Straining the blended peach mixture is optional depending on your desired texture.
