This refreshing Peach Lemonade recipe combines the tangy zest of homemade lemonade with the sweet, juicy flavor of fresh peaches and a hint of fresh mint. Perfect for warm days, this vibrant drink is easy to make and serves six, offering a delightful twist on a classic summer beverage.

Ingredients

Lemonade

  • 1 recipe Homemade Lemonade (or 8 cups of your favorite lemonade)

Fruit and Garnish

  • 45 fresh peaches
  • 1 tablespoon fresh mint, plus more for garnish

Instructions

  1. Prepare Lemonade: Prepare lemonade according to your preferred homemade recipe or use store-bought lemonade, then set it aside or chill in the refrigerator until ready to use.
  2. Prepare Peaches: Wash and slice the fresh peaches, removing the pits. Reserve about one-quarter of the peach slices for adding directly to the pitcher and for garnish.
  3. Blend Peach Mixture: Place the remaining peach slices in a blender along with 1 cup of the prepared lemonade and 1 tablespoon of fresh mint. Blend until smooth. For a thinner texture, strain the blended mixture through a fine sieve before pouring into the pitcher.
  4. Combine: Add the blended peach mixture back into the pitcher with the remaining lemonade and stir well to combine. Add the reserved peach slices and lemon slices for visual appeal and flavor.
  5. Serve: Add ice to the pitcher or pour the peach lemonade over glasses filled with ice cubes to keep the drink chilled without diluting it quickly. Garnish each serving with fresh mint and peach slices for an inviting presentation.

Notes

  • To enhance the flavor, use ripe, sweet peaches for blending.
  • For a smoother lemonade, strain the blended peach mixture through a fine sieve to remove pulp.
  • Adjust sweetness by adding a little honey or sugar if needed, depending on the tartness of your lemonade and peaches.
  • This recipe can be made ahead and chilled for up to 24 hours; stir well before serving.
  • For a sparkling version, replace some of the lemonade with sparkling water just before serving.
