This No Bake Ferrero Rocher Dessert is an indulgent, creamy treat inspired by the famous chocolate-hazelnut confection. Combining layers of ladyfinger cookies, rich mascarpone and chocolate cream, dipped in a smooth chocolate-hazelnut sauce, and finished with chopped hazelnuts, this dessert is simple to prepare with no baking required. Perfect for chocolate lovers and impressive enough for special occasions, it’s ready in just 30 minutes.

Ingredients

Cookies and Cream

  • Ladyfinger cookies – quantity as needed for 8 servings
  • 250 g mascarpone cheese
  • 250 g chocolate spread (e.g., Nutella)

Chocolate Sauce

  • 150 ml milk
  • 55 g chocolate spread (e.g., Nutella)

Topping

  • Finely chopped hazelnuts – enough to coat the dessert sides

Instructions

  1. Prepare the cream mixture: In a mixing bowl, combine the mascarpone cheese and 250 g of chocolate spread. Mix until the texture is smooth and creamy. Set aside about 40 g of this cream mixture for garnishing later, and place the remaining mixture into a piping bag for easy application.
  2. Make the chocolate sauce: Heat 150 ml of milk in a pan on the stovetop until it reaches a boil. Remove the pan from heat and stir in 55 g of chocolate spread until the mixture is smooth and well combined. Allow this chocolate milk mixture to cool to room temperature.
  3. Assemble the dessert sandwiches: Take one ladyfinger cookie and pipe a dollop of the mascarpone-chocolate cream onto it. Place a second ladyfinger on top and press firmly to create a sandwich.
  4. Apply cream to sides: Use the reserved 40 g of cream mixture to spread evenly around the sides of each ladyfinger sandwich.
  5. Dip in chocolate sauce: Briefly dip each cream-coated dessert sandwich into the cooled chocolate sauce, ensuring the sides are coated well.
  6. Coat with hazelnuts: Immediately after dipping, coat the sides of the dessert with finely chopped hazelnuts by rolling or pressing them onto the surface.
  7. Place on paper liners: Transfer the prepared hazelnut-coated desserts onto small paper liners to keep them intact and neat.
  8. Finish with cream topping: Using the piping bag, pipe a small dollop of the mascarpone-chocolate cream on top of each dessert for an elegant finishing touch.

Notes

  • Ensure the chocolate sauce is cool before dipping to prevent melting the cream filling.
  • Chill the desserts in the refrigerator for 10-15 minutes before serving for a firmer texture.
  • You can substitute ladyfingers with similar cookies like sponge fingers or even pretzel sticks for a crunchy variation.
  • Use fresh, high-quality hazelnuts for the best flavor and crunch.
  • This dessert is best enjoyed within 24 hours for optimal freshness.
