These Healthy Fudgesicles are a creamy, vegan, and dairy-free frozen treat made from non-dairy milk, coconut cream, cocoa powder, and maple syrup. Perfect for a guilt-free dessert, they are easy to prepare with just a blender and freezer, offering a rich chocolate flavor without any refined sugars or dairy.

Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 1 cup non-dairy milk
  • ½ cup coconut cream (thick part from the top of a can of coconut milk)
  • ½ cup cocoa powder
  • ¼ cup maple syrup
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Blend the mixture: Add the coconut cream, non-dairy milk, cocoa powder, maple syrup, and vanilla extract to a blender. Blend until the mixture is smooth and creamy, ensuring all ingredients are well combined and there are no lumps of cocoa powder.
  2. Pour into molds: Carefully pour the blended mixture evenly into popsicle molds to prepare for freezing.
  3. Insert sticks and freeze: Place popsicle sticks into each mold and transfer the molds to the freezer. Freeze for 4 to 6 hours, or preferably overnight, until the fudgesicles are completely firm.
  4. Remove and enjoy: To unmold the fudgesicles easily, run the molds under warm water for 15 to 30 seconds. Gently pull out the fudgesicles and enjoy your healthy chocolate treat.
  5. Optional garnish: For added texture and flavor, drizzle melted dark chocolate over the fudgesicles and sprinkle with chopped peanuts before serving, as shown in the photo.

Notes

  • Use full-fat coconut cream from a chilled can for the best creamy texture.
  • Maple syrup sweetness can be adjusted according to taste preference.
  • Non-dairy milk options like almond, oat, or soy milk work well in this recipe.
  • For easier removal, briefly dip the molds in warm water before unmolding.
  • Optional toppings like dark chocolate and nuts add extra richness and crunch.
