Frozen S’mores is a delightful no-bake dessert that combines creamy chocolate pudding, fluffy marshmallow cream, and crunchy graham crackers layered and frozen to create a cool, sweet treat perfect for warm days or any time you want a refreshing twist on the classic campfire s’mores.

Ingredients

Chocolate Pudding Layer

  • 1 (5.9-ounce) box instant chocolate pudding
  • 2 1/2 cups whole milk
  • 1/2 cup Cool Whip, defrosted
  • 6 graham cracker halves

Cream Cheese Marshmallow Layer

  • 5 ounces cream cheese, at room temperature
  • 7 ounces marshmallow creme
  • 2 cups Cool Whip, defrosted
  • pinch of salt
  • 6 graham cracker halves

Instructions

  1. Prepare Baking Dish: Line a 9×13-inch baking dish with parchment paper, leaving extra parchment hanging over the edges to easily lift out the dessert later.
  2. Make Pudding Mixture: In a medium bowl, whisk together the instant chocolate pudding mix, whole milk, and 1/2 cup of defrosted Cool Whip until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
  3. Layer Graham Crackers and Pudding: Evenly lay half of the graham cracker halves (6 pieces) in the bottom of the baking dish. Spread the prepared pudding mixture evenly over the graham crackers. Place the dish in the refrigerator to chill while preparing the next layer.
  4. Prepare Cream Cheese Mixture: In a separate medium bowl, beat together the room temperature cream cheese and marshmallow creme until smooth. Gently fold in the remaining 2 cups of Cool Whip and a pinch of salt until fully combined and fluffy.
  5. Assemble Layers and Freeze: Spread the cream cheese and marshmallow mixture evenly over the chilled chocolate pudding layer. Arrange the remaining 6 graham cracker halves evenly on top. Cover the dish with foil and place it in the freezer for 6 hours, or until the dessert is firm enough to cut.
  6. Slice into Portions: Remove the dessert from the freezer and use the overhanging parchment paper to lift it out onto a cutting board. Use the graham crackers as a guide to slice the frozen layers into 12 equal squares. Trim any excess frozen filling around the edges if needed.
  7. Serve and Store: Enjoy the frozen s’mores immediately after softening slightly, or store them in a zip-top bag in the freezer. If frozen, allow them to soften at room temperature for about 15 minutes before eating.

Notes

  • For best results, use whole milk as it provides creaminess to the pudding mixture.
  • Make sure the cream cheese is at room temperature to ensure a smooth and easy mix with the marshmallow creme.
  • Defrost Cool Whip completely before mixing to achieve proper texture.
  • Use a sharp knife warmed slightly with hot water to cut cleanly through the frozen dessert.
  • Store leftovers in the freezer to maintain firmness; thaw briefly before serving.
