Fresh and vibrant mango salsa bursting with tropical flavors, combining ripe mangoes, crisp bell pepper, and a zesty lime dressing. Perfect as a refreshing dip or a topping for grilled meats and tacos.

Ingredients

Fresh Mango Salsa Ingredients

  • 2 whole ripe mangos, peeled and diced
  • 1/2 red bell pepper, diced
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 1/2 jalapeno, finely diced
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
  • 12 limes, juiced (about 1 tablespoon lime juice)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Combine Ingredients: In a large bowl, add the diced mangos, red bell pepper, chopped green onions, finely diced jalapeno, and chopped cilantro.
  2. Add Lime Juice and Season: Pour the fresh lime juice over the mixture. Season with salt and pepper to taste, stirring well to combine all the flavors evenly.
  3. Chill: Cover the bowl and refrigerate the salsa for at least 10 minutes to allow the flavors to meld before serving. Adjust seasoning as needed before serving.

Notes

  • For less heat, remove the seeds and membranes from the jalapeno before dicing.
  • This salsa pairs wonderfully with grilled chicken, fish, or as a topping for tacos.
  • Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator and consume within 2 days for best freshness.
  • Add diced avocado for a creamier texture.
