Crockpot Steak Bites are tender beef cubes cooked in a savory sauce, made with soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, garlic, and butter. This easy-to-make dish is perfect for busy days, offering rich, melt-in-your-mouth steak with minimal effort.

Ingredients

2 pounds sirloin or stew beef, cut into bite-sized cubes

3 tablespoons olive oil

3 tablespoons soy sauce

1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

1 tablespoon minced garlic

1 teaspoon onion powder

½ teaspoon black pepper

1 tablespoon butter

Instructions

  1. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the steak cubes in batches and sear on all sides until browned, about 3-4 minutes per side. Remove the steak from the skillet and set it aside.
  2. Place the seared steak cubes into the crockpot.
  3. In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, garlic, onion powder, and black pepper. Pour the sauce mixture over the steak in the crockpot, ensuring the steak is well coated.
  4. Add the butter to the crockpot and cover. Cook on low for 4 hours or high for 2-3 hours, stirring once halfway through.
  5. Once cooked, serve the steak bites with your favorite sides, such as mashed potatoes, rice, or roasted vegetables.

Notes

  • For a one-pot meal, add diced carrots, potatoes, or bell peppers to the crockpot along with the steak.
  • Add red pepper flakes or hot sauce for a spicy kick.
  • Stir in sliced mushrooms for an earthy flavor that complements the beef.
  • For a low-carb option, serve with cauliflower rice or zoodles.
  • Leftover steak bites can be stored in the fridge for up to 3 days or frozen for up to 3 months.
  • If reheating, add a bit of butter or broth to prevent the steak from drying out.
