This creamy Crock Pot Spinach Artichoke Dip is a warm and flavorful appetizer perfect for parties and gatherings. Made with fresh spinach, tender artichoke hearts, and a blend of cheeses and garlic, it’s effortlessly prepared in a slow cooker giving you a deliciously melty dip to enjoy with crackers or chips.

Ingredients

Dip Ingredients

  • 1 10-ounce bag fresh spinach, roughly chopped
  • 1 14-ounce can artichoke hearts, roughly chopped
  • 1 8-ounce block cream cheese, cut into cubes
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Combine Ingredients: Add the chopped fresh spinach, artichoke hearts, cream cheese cubes, sour cream, shredded mozzarella, Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, salt, and pepper into a small crock pot. Stir all the ingredients together until well mixed.
  2. Cook Dip: Put the lid on the crock pot and set the heat to LOW. Let the dip cook for 2 hours. After 1 hour, remove the lid and stir the mixture thoroughly to ensure even cooking and melting. Replace the lid and continue to cook for one additional hour.
  3. Adjust Seasoning and Serve: After 2 hours, give the dip a final stir. Taste and adjust the salt and pepper if needed. Serve warm with your favorite crackers or chips for dipping.

Notes

  • Make sure to stir the dip halfway through cooking for even texture and flavor.
  • You can substitute sour cream with Greek yogurt for a tangier flavor and slightly healthier option.
  • For a spicier kick, add a pinch of red pepper flakes or a dash of hot sauce.
  • Use fresh garlic instead of powder for a more robust garlic flavor.
  • Serve immediately or keep warm on the crock pot’s warming setting until ready to serve.
