Delicious and simple chocolate banana peanut butter bites that combine fresh bananas, creamy peanut butter, and melted chocolate for a healthy, sweet snack perfect for satisfying cravings.

Ingredients

Ingredients

  • 2 ripe bananas
  • 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1 cup milk chocolate candy wafers (or dark chocolate chips/almond bark, melted)

Instructions

  1. Slice Bananas: Slice bananas into 3/8″ to 1/2″ thick rounds to create bite-sized pieces.
  2. Assemble Bites: Spread a good smear of peanut butter between two banana slices, sandwiching the peanut butter in the middle.
  3. Freeze to Set: Place the banana peanut butter sandwiches on parchment paper and freeze just until firm enough that the peanut butter is stuck and the bananas are frozen. This makes coating easier.
  4. Melt the Chocolate: While the bites are chilling, melt your preferred chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl or using a double boiler until smooth.
  5. Coat with Chocolate: Use a toothpick to dip and spear each frozen banana bite into the melted chocolate, coating completely. Lay coated bites on a parchment-lined baking pan.
  6. Freeze to Harden: Place the chocolate-coated banana bites in the freezer to set completely before enjoying.

Notes

  • Store leftover banana bites in a zipper freezer bag or freezer-safe container for up to 7 days.
  • These bites are ideal for a quick grab-and-go sweet snack.
  • You can use dark chocolate or almond bark as alternatives to milk chocolate for different flavor profiles.
