A quick and easy Air Fryer Tortilla Garlic Bread recipe that transforms simple flour tortillas into a crispy, cheesy, and flavorful snack or side dish, perfect for pairing with pasta, soups, or salads.

Ingredients

Garlic Bread Ingredients

  • 2 flour tortilla shells
  • 1 tbsp butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup grated mozzarella cheese
  • Garlic powder, to sprinkle
  • Italian seasoning, to sprinkle
  • Optional: chopped fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Butter the Tortillas: Lay out your tortillas on a clean surface. Using a spoon or a butter knife, spread a generous amount of softened butter evenly over the surface of each tortilla, coating all the way to the edges for full flavor.
  2. Add Toppings: Sprinkle grated mozzarella cheese, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning evenly over the buttered tortillas. Then stack one tortilla on top of the other.
  3. Preheat and Air Fry: Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C). Place the stacked tortillas in the air fryer basket in a single layer without overlapping. Air fry for 4-6 minutes until the tortillas turn golden brown and crispy. Keep a close watch as times may vary depending on your air fryer.
  4. Garnish: Carefully remove the tortilla garlic bread from the air fryer. If desired, sprinkle chopped fresh parsley over the top for added color and freshness.
  5. Serve: Serve immediately while warm and crispy. This garlic bread pairs well with pasta, soups, salads, or can be enjoyed as a standalone snack. For extra flavor, enjoy it with marinara sauce, salsa, or your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes

  • Use softened butter for easier spreading and better flavor absorption.
  • Keep an eye on the tortillas during air frying to avoid burn as air fryers vary in cooking speed.
  • If making multiple servings, cook in batches to avoid overcrowding the air fryer basket.
  • For a vegan option, substitute butter and cheese with plant-based alternatives.
  • Feel free to experiment with different cheeses or add garlic salt instead of powder for varied flavors.
