Delightfully cute and healthy White Chocolate Fruit Turtles made by combining creamy white chocolate with fresh kiwi and green grapes, enhanced with candy eyes for a playful touch. These no-bake treats are perfect as a fun dessert or snack, ideal for kids and adults alike.

Ingredients

White Chocolate Mixture

  • 100 grams white chocolate

Fruit

  • 18 green grapes (oblong and round)
  • 3 kiwis

Decorations

  • 12 mini candy eyes

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Fruit: Peel the kiwis and slice them so that each slice is about the same thickness as the grapes you are using for uniformity and better assembly.
  2. Halve the Grapes: Cut the grapes in half lengthwise, preferably choosing oblong-shaped grapes for the legs for the best visual effect.
  3. Melt the White Chocolate: Gently melt the white chocolate until smooth. Transfer the melted chocolate into a piping utensil or bag for precise application.
  4. Create the Turtle Base: Pipe a dollop of white chocolate onto parchment paper. Then pipe a hollow circular shape underneath the dollop to serve as the turtle’s shell base that will hold the fruit in place.
  5. Dry the Fruit: Pat the kiwi slices and grapes dry on a paper towel to remove excess moisture, helping the chocolate adhere better.
  6. Assemble the Turtle Shell: Place a kiwi slice on top of the circular chocolate shape so that the chocolate extends just beyond the kiwi to secure the legs.
  7. Add Legs and Head: Place a whole, round grape onto the dollop for the turtle’s head. Arrange four halved grapes symmetrically around the kiwi slice to form the legs, with the cut side facing inwards.
  8. Attach Candy Eyes: Use small dots of white chocolate as glue to stick the candy eyes onto the grape head, giving your turtles a playful look.
  9. Set the Turtles: Allow the assembled turtles to sit at room temperature or in the refrigerator until the white chocolate hardens completely.
  10. Serve: Once set, serve these charming fruit turtles as a delightful snack or dessert.

Notes

  • Ensure fruits are fully dried before placing on the chocolate to prevent melting or slipping.
  • Use parchment paper for easy removal of the turtles once set.
  • Customize by adding other fruits or using dark chocolate for a different flavor profile.
  • These turtles should be stored in a cool place or refrigerated to prevent melting.
