  • 2 medium carrots, grated (115g)
  • 2 tbsp plain yogurt (40g)
  • 6 slices deli turkey meat (106g)
  • 1 cup spinach (40g)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Cream Cheese Filling: In a medium mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, shredded cheddar cheese, grated carrots, and plain yogurt. Mix thoroughly until you achieve a smooth, consistent spread.
  2. Spread Filling onto Tortillas: Place half of the cream cheese filling onto the center of each tortilla. Using a knife or spatula, evenly spread the mixture across the tortilla surface, taking care to leave about a half-inch border around the edges free of filling to prevent spilling when rolling.
  3. Add Spinach and Turkey: Evenly distribute ½ cup of fresh spinach over the filling on each tortilla. Layer 3 slices of deli turkey meat atop the spinach on each one, ensuring even coverage for balanced flavor in every bite.
  4. Roll and Slice: Starting at one edge, tightly roll each tortilla into a log shape to keep the filling secure. Once rolled, slice each log into 6 bite-sized slices for easy serving and eating.
  5. Chill Before Serving (Optional): For best results, wrap each rolled tortilla tightly in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 1 hour. This chilling step allows the cream cheese filling to firm up, helping the roll ups maintain their shape and making slicing cleaner. However, you can also serve immediately if desired.
