Ingredients
Salmon Glaze:
4 salmon fillets, 6 oz each
1/4 cup brown sugar
2 tablespoons soy sauce
2 tablespoons butter, melted
1 tablespoon honey
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 teaspoon paprika
2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
Preheat oven: Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Pat salmon fillets dry with paper towels.
Mix glaze: In a small bowl, whisk together brown sugar, soy sauce, melted butter, honey, garlic powder, black pepper, and paprika until smooth.
Coat salmon: Place salmon fillets on the prepared baking sheet and brush generously with half of the glaze mixture, coating the tops and sides.
Bake: Bake for 8 minutes, then brush with the remaining glaze mixture. Bake for an additional 8-10 minutes until salmon flakes easily with a fork and reaches 145°F internally.
Rest and serve: Let salmon rest for 2 minutes, sprinkle with fresh parsley, and serve hot.
Notes
Choose salmon fillets of equal thickness for even cooking
Don’t skip the second glaze application – it creates the signature shine
Internal temperature should reach 145°F for food safety
Let salmon rest briefly before serving to retain juices
For extra caramelization, broil for 1-2 minutes at the end
