Sweet Cinnamon Milk Tea is a cozy and flavorful beverage that combines the warm spice of cinnamon with rich black tea and creamy milk. Sweetened with maple syrup and enhanced with a hint of vanilla, this easy-to-make drink is perfect for relaxing moments or as a comforting pick-me-up.

Ingredients

Tea Base

  • 3 cinnamon sticks
  • 3 black tea bags
  • 2 cups water

Milk Mixture

  • 1 ½ cups milk (2% recommended)
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Boil Cinnamon: Combine 2 cups of water and 3 cinnamon sticks in a small saucepan. Bring the mixture to a boil over medium-high heat to infuse the water with cinnamon flavor.
  2. Steep Tea: Remove the saucepan from heat, add 3 black tea bags, cover with a lid, and let the tea steep for 7 minutes to develop a rich and aromatic brew.
  3. Warm Milk: While the tea steeps, heat 1 ½ cups of milk in the microwave or in another saucepan until warm but not boiling. Set aside.
  4. Strain and Sweeten: After 7 minutes, remove the tea bags and cinnamon sticks from the saucepan. Stir in 1 tablespoon of maple syrup and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract to sweeten and flavor the tea.
  5. Combine and Serve: Add the warmed milk to the tea, stir gently, and divide the sweet cinnamon milk tea evenly between 2 cups. Serve immediately and enjoy the comforting flavors.

Notes

  • Use 2% or whole milk for the creamiest result; non-dairy alternatives like almond or oat milk also work well.
  • Maple syrup can be substituted with honey or your preferred sweetener depending on taste and dietary needs.
  • Adjust steeping time to make tea stronger or milder according to preference.
