A refreshing and vibrant homemade strawberry lemonade that perfectly balances the tartness of fresh lemons with the sweetness of ripe strawberries. This easy-to-make drink is ideal for a sunny day, served chilled over ice with a garnish of lemon slices.

Ingredients

Strawberry Mixture

  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, halved and stems removed
  • ¼ cup sugar
  • ¼ cup water

Lemonade Base

  • 1 cup lemon juice (approximately 6 lemons)
  • 1¾ cups sugar
  • 5¾ cups water
  • Sliced lemons for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Blend Strawberries: In a blender, combine 1 cup of fresh halved strawberries, ¼ cup sugar, and ¼ cup water. Blend until the mixture is completely smooth with no large chunks remaining.
  2. Mix Lemonade: Pour the blended strawberry mixture into a large pitcher. Add the remaining 1¾ cups sugar, 1 cup lemon juice, and 5¾ cups water. Stir thoroughly until all sugar is dissolved and ingredients are well combined.
  3. Garnish and Serve: Add sliced lemons to the pitcher for additional flavor and visual appeal if desired. Serve the strawberry lemonade immediately over ice cubes or refrigerate until chilled. Enjoy this refreshing beverage!
