Ingredients

For the Steaks:

  • 4 steaks (ribeye or filet mignon)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp olive oil

For the Cajun Shrimp Sauce:

  • 1/2 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tbsp Cajun seasoning
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook the Steaks: Season steaks with salt and pepper. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Cook steaks to your desired doneness (about 4-5 minutes per side for medium). Remove and let rest.
  2. Sauté Shrimp: In the same skillet, melt butter. Add shrimp and cook until pink, about 2-3 minutes. Remove shrimp and set aside.
  3. Make the Sauce: In the skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute. Pour in heavy cream and stir in Cajun seasoning. Bring to a simmer and cook for 2-3 minutes until slightly thickened.
  4. Finish the Dish: Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted. Return shrimp to the skillet, mixing to coat in the sauce.
  5. Serve: Place steaks on plates and top with creamy Cajun shrimp sauce. Garnish with fresh parsley and enjoy!
