A quick and easy one-pan meal featuring tender chicken breasts and roasted baby Yukon gold potatoes glazed with a sweet and savory honey butter sauce, perfect for busy weeknights.

Ingredients

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 pound baby Yukon gold potatoes
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 2 teaspoons Buttery Steakhouse seasoning
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • ½ cup honey
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with aluminum foil.
  2. Pound the chicken breasts to an even thickness. Cut the baby potatoes into quarters or sixths for uniform size.
  3. Make the honey glaze: Melt butter in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Stir in honey, minced garlic, salt, and pepper. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 5–6 minutes. Remove from heat and set aside.
  4. Place chicken breasts on the prepared baking sheet and arrange potatoes around them. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle garlic powder, black pepper, paprika, and Buttery Steakhouse seasoning evenly over chicken and potatoes.
  5. Pour the honey glaze over the chicken breasts.
  6. Bake for 25–30 minutes, until chicken is cooked through (internal temperature 165°F/74°C) and potatoes are tender.
  7. Remove from oven and let rest for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

  • Try different seasoning blends like Italian herbs, Cajun spice, or lemon pepper.
  • Add vegetables such as carrots, broccoli, or bell peppers to the sheet pan for extra nutrition.
  • For a sweet and spicy twist, add cayenne pepper or red pepper flakes to the honey glaze.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3–4 days or freeze for up to 3 months.
  • Reheat in a 350°F (175°C) oven for about 25 minutes.
  • Use a meat thermometer to ensure chicken is fully cooked.
  • Use alternative sweeteners like maple syrup or agave nectar if desired.
  • Potatoes do not need to be peeled; just wash well.
  • Use vegetable or avocado oil as alternatives to olive oil.
