Indulge in a luxurious and creamy One Pan Shrimp Fettuccine Alfredo that combines succulent shrimp, garlic, butter, and Parmesan in a single skillet for a decadent pasta dish.

Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter (divided)
  • 1 lb large shrimp (peeled & deveined)
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1/2 lb fettuccine noodles
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • Salt, pepper & pinch nutmeg
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook Shrimp: Heat pan over medium heat, add 2 tbsp butter. Cook shrimp for 1-2 minutes per side until opaque, then remove and set aside.
  2. Sauté Garlic: Add remaining butter to the pan and sauté garlic for 30 seconds.
  3. Cook Noodles: Add chicken broth, whole milk, and fettuccine noodles to the pan. Bring to a boil, cover, reduce heat, and simmer for 11 minutes until noodles are al dente.
  4. Add Cream & Cheese: Remove the lid and add heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, salt, pepper, and nutmeg. Stir until the cheese melts.
  5. Combine & Serve: Add the cooked shrimp back into the pan. Remove from heat and let sit for 5 minutes to thicken. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.

Notes

  • For an extra creamy texture, add a splash of pasta water to the sauce.
