Ingredients

Dry Ingredients:

  • 2¼ cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ¾ tsp cinnamon
  • ¼ tsp nutmeg

Wet Ingredients:

  • 1¼ cup butter, softened
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs

Additional:

  • 3 cups Old Fashioned Oats
  • 1½ cups raisins

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven: Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.
  2. Mix dry ingredients: In a medium bowl, combine flour, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg; whisk together.
  3. Combine wet ingredients: In a separate large bowl, combine butter, sugar, and brown sugar; beat until light and fluffy. Add vanilla extract and eggs one at a time, mixing between each addition. Scrape down sides of the bowl as needed.
  4. Add flour and oats: Mix in the flour mixture until fully combined. Add oats and mix until thick and well combined.
  5. Fold in raisins: Gently fold in the raisins. Scoop the dough into full tablespoon-size balls, placing them about 2 inches apart on the baking sheet.
  6. Bake: Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, until the edges are slightly browned. Allow to cool on the pan for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely. Store in an airtight container.
