  • 1 cup shortening, such as Crisco
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract

For the Frosting:

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 4 cups powdered sugar
  • pinch of salt
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp almond extract
  • 3 to 4 tbsp heavy cream

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat oven to 350 degrees F and line a baking sheet.
