Korean Banana Milk is a creamy, refreshing beverage made by blending ripe bananas with milk, sugar, and condensed milk. This easy-to-make drink combines the natural sweetness and smooth texture of bananas with the richness of milk, making it perfect for a quick snack or a delightful treat chilled or over ice.

  • 3 medium overripe bananas (about 7″ long), sliced
  • 3 2/3 cups milk (can be substituted with oat, almond, or your favorite milk choice)
  • 12 tablespoons sugar (1 tablespoon for less sweet, 2 tablespoons for sweeter version)
  • 1/3 cup condensed milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)

Optional Texture Addition

  • 12 medium overripe bananas, finely cubed (optional for added texture)

Instructions

  1. Slice Bananas: Slice 3 medium overripe bananas and place them into a large bowl or a large measuring cup. If you desire some texture or extra banana flavor, finely cube 1-2 more bananas to add later.
  2. Prepare Banana Milk Base: To the sliced bananas, add 2/3 cup of milk, 1 – 2 tablespoons sugar depending on your sweetness preference, and 1/4 – 1/3 cup of condensed milk. Optionally, add 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract for enhanced flavor. Use an immersion blender to blend this mixture until smooth and completely lump-free. Adjust the sugar and condensed milk based on banana ripeness and your desired sweetness.
  3. Combine and Chill: Pour the smooth banana milk base into a large drink container. Add the remaining 3 cups of milk and stir gently to combine. If you prepared cubed bananas, fold them in now for added texture. For best taste, chill the banana milk for a few hours before serving. If you’re in a hurry, serve immediately over ice.
