This Iced Honey Cinnamon Latte is a refreshing and flavorful coffee drink that combines the sweetness of honey and the warm spiciness of cinnamon with strong espresso and chilled milk. Perfect for a quick energizing treat with a twist of cozy flavors served over ice.

Ingredients

Syrup

  • ½ cup water
  • ¼ cup honey
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon

Latte

  • 1 shot espresso or very strong coffee
  • 12 tablespoons honey-cinnamon syrup (to taste)
  • ½ cup milk (of your choice)
  • Ice (enough to fill the glass)

Instructions

  1. Make the Honey Cinnamon Syrup: In a small saucepan set over medium heat, combine ½ cup water, ¼ cup honey, and 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon. Bring the mixture to a boil, stirring occasionally.
  2. Simmer the Syrup: Reduce the heat and let the syrup simmer gently for 5 minutes, allowing the honey to fully dissolve and the cinnamon to infuse the liquid.
  3. Cool the Syrup: Remove the syrup from heat and let it cool completely. Once cooled, transfer the syrup into an airtight container and refrigerate. It can be stored for up to 2 weeks.
  4. Prepare the Latte: Pour 1 shot of espresso or very strong coffee into a serving glass. Add 1 to 2 tablespoons of the prepared honey-cinnamon syrup according to your sweetness preference and stir well.
  5. Assemble the Drink: Fill the glass with ice cubes, then top with ½ cup milk of your choice, whether dairy or non-dairy.
  6. Serve: Stir the latte gently to combine all flavors, then enjoy your refreshing iced honey cinnamon latte immediately.

Notes

  • The honey-cinnamon syrup can be made in advance and stored in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
  • Adjust the amount of honey-cinnamon syrup for a sweeter or milder flavor according to your taste.
  • Use your preferred type of milk, such as whole, skim, almond, oat, or soy milk.
  • For a stronger cinnamon flavor, consider sprinkling a pinch of cinnamon on top before serving.
  • If espresso is unavailable, substitute with a very strong brewed coffee.
