This refreshing Iced Honey Cinnamon Latte combines the warm flavors of cinnamon and honey with creamy oat milk and rich espresso, making it a delightful and comforting iced coffee drink perfect for any time of the day.

Ingredients

Honey Cinnamon Simple Syrup

  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 3 cinnamon sticks
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Latte

  • Ice (as needed)
  • 8 oz Planet Oat Extra Creamy Oatmilk
  • 1/2 tablespoon honey cinnamon simple syrup (plus more to taste)
  • 12 shots espresso, cooled or chilled (plus an extra shot if desired for stronger coffee)

Instructions

  1. Make the honey cinnamon simple syrup: In a small pot, combine the honey, cinnamon sticks, and water. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat to low and let it simmer for 10 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract. Allow the syrup to cool completely, then remove the cinnamon sticks. Store the syrup in an airtight container in the refrigerator until ready to use.
  2. Prepare the latte base: Fill a cup with ice cubes. Pour 8 ounces of Planet Oat Extra Creamy Oatmilk over the ice. Add 1/2 tablespoon of the prepared honey cinnamon simple syrup (add more to taste) and stir well until the syrup is fully combined with the oat milk.
  3. Add espresso and serve: Pour 1 to 2 shots of cooled or chilled espresso over the milk and ice mixture. For a stronger coffee flavor, add an extra shot of espresso. Stir slightly if desired and enjoy your refreshing iced honey cinnamon latte.

Notes

  • The honey cinnamon simple syrup can be stored in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.

  • For a vegan version, ensure your honey is substituted with a vegan-friendly syrup such as maple syrup or agave nectar.
  • Planet Oat Extra Creamy Oatmilk can be substituted with any other plant-based milk.
