Refreshing and vibrant Iced Guava White Tea Lemonade combines the delicate flavor of white tea with the tropical sweetness of guava juice and the zesty brightness of freshly squeezed lemon, perfect for a rejuvenating summer drink.

Ingredients

Tea Base

  • 1/2 cup hot water
  • 1 tsp honey (optional, plus additional to taste)
  • 1 bag white tea
  • 1/2 cup ice cubes (plus additional for serving)

Juice Mixture

  • 1 cup guava juice
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice (freshly squeezed, about 1/41/2 lemon, plus additional to taste)

Instructions

  1. Steep the Tea: In a large measuring cup, dissolve the honey if using in 1/2 cup of boiling water. Add the white tea bag and allow it to steep for 10 minutes to extract flavor.
  2. Cool the Tea: After 10 minutes, add 1/2 cup of ice cubes to the tea and let it steep further for another 10 minutes, cooling the tea and balancing its flavor.
  3. Combine Juices: Mix in the guava juice and freshly squeezed lemon juice into the tea mixture to create a sweet and tangy blend.
  4. Serve: Place a generous amount of ice in one large or two small glasses and pour the iced guava white tea lemonade over the ice. Add honey or lemon to taste if desired.
  5. Enjoy: Serve immediately for a refreshing and flavorful iced beverage.

Notes

  • Adjust honey and lemon juice quantities to suit your preferred sweetness and tartness.
  • Use freshly squeezed lemon juice for the best flavor.
  • To make this drink vegan, ensure the honey is omitted or replaced with a vegan sweetener.
  • For a stronger tea flavor, extend the initial steeping time slightly.
