Garlic Spaghetti, also known as Aglio e Olio, is a simple yet flavorful pasta dish made with garlic, olive oil, and a hint of chili flakes. This quick and easy recipe is a perfect choice for a delicious weeknight meal.

Ingredients

For the Garlic, Chili, and Oil:

  • 1/2 cup (125 ml) olive oil
  • 10 cloves garlic, peeled and thinly sliced
  • 1 tablespoon chili flakes

For the Pasta:

  • 500 grams (16 oz) spaghetti

Garnish:

  • Black pepper
  • Parmesan cheese, finely grated
  • Parsley, finely chopped

Instructions

  1. Garlic, Chili, and Oil: Heat olive oil in a large frying pan over high heat. Add sliced garlic and chili flakes, and sauté for 2-3 minutes until garlic is golden.
  2. Pasta: Cook spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente. Drain well.
  3. Combine: Add drained pasta to the garlic mixture. Toss to combine.
