These Garlic Parmesan Chicken Skewers are tender and flavorful, basted with a homemade garlic parmesan sauce. Perfect for the air fryer, they can be served as an appetizer or a main course over rice and veggies.

Ingredients

Chicken Skewers:

  • 2 lbs chicken tenders, thighs, or breast
  • 2 tbsp olive oil

Garlic Parmesan Butter Sauce:

  • 1 stick butter
  • 810 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup parmesan, grated
  • 1 tbsp hot sauce (more if desired)
  • 2 teaspoons red pepper flakes
  • 1/3 cup fresh parsley, minced

Chicken Seasonings:

  • 2 teaspoons paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper

Instructions

  1. Prep and Skewer Chicken: Soak wooden skewers, prepare seasoning mix, coat chicken, skewer tightly.
  2. Garlic Parmesan Butter Sauce: Melt butter, mix with garlic, parmesan, hot sauce, red pepper flakes, and parsley.
  3. Cook The Chicken: Air fry skewers, baste with sauce, cook until internal temp reaches 165°F.

Notes

  • Oven Preparation: Preheat to 450°F, bake skewers for 14 mins, then broil. Baste with butter and parmesan.
  • Grill Preparation: Grill skewers over medium-high heat, basting with butter. Finish with butter and parmesan.
