Ingredients

lbs steak bites (sirloin or ribeye, cut into 1-inch cubes)

3 tbsp butter

3 garlic cloves, minced

1 (20 oz) package refrigerated or frozen cheese tortellini

2 tbsp butter (for Alfredo sauce)

2 cups heavy cream

1½ cups grated Parmesan cheese (preferably freshly grated)

Salt and black pepper, to taste

Instructions

  • Cook the Tortellini
Bring salted water to a boil and cook tortellini according to package directions. Drain and set aside.

  • Sear the Steak Bites
In a skillet over medium-high heat, melt 3 tbsp butter. Add garlic and sauté until fragrant. Add steak bites in a single layer and sear 2–3 minutes per side. Season with salt and pepper. Remove and set aside.

  • Make the Alfredo Sauce
Reduce heat to medium. In the same pan, melt 2 tbsp butter, add cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Gradually whisk in Parmesan until smooth and slightly thickened. Season to taste.

  • Combine
Add cooked tortellini to the sauce and stir to coat.

  • Assemble
Plate creamy tortellini, top with steak bites, and drizzle with reserved garlic butter. Garnish as desired.

Notes

  • For extra richness, use freshly grated Parmesan cheese.

  • To spice it up, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the Alfredo sauce.

  • Optional garnish: chopped parsley, extra Parmesan, or a drizzle of truffle oil.

  • Avoid overcrowding the pan when searing steak for best browning.
