These Frozen Yogurt Bites are a delicious and refreshing snack made with Greek-style plain yogurt, honey or maple syrup for sweetness, and topped with fresh fruit and optional sprinkles. Perfect for a healthy treat, they are easy to prepare and require only freezing time to set.

Ingredients

Yogurt Mixture

  • 1 cup Greek-style plain yogurt (whole-milk yogurt preferred)
  • 2 tablespoons honey (or maple syrup), optional to taste
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Toppings

  • 1 cup sliced fruit (such as raspberries, blueberries, banana, strawberries, or other desired fruit)
  • Sprinkles, optional for topping

Instructions

  1. Prepare the yogurt mixture: In a medium bowl, combine the Greek-style plain yogurt, honey or maple syrup (if using), and vanilla extract. Stir thoroughly until all ingredients are well mixed and smooth.
  2. Portion into molds: Divide the yogurt mixture evenly among silicone freezer containers or an ice cube tray, filling each section about three-quarters full to allow space for fruit toppings.
  3. Add toppings: Top each filled mold with a few slices of your chosen fresh fruit and add sprinkles if desired for a fun, colorful touch.
  4. Freeze: Place the tray in the freezer and let it freeze for at least 6 hours or preferably overnight to ensure the bites are fully set and firm.
  5. Serve and enjoy: Once frozen solid, remove the bites from the mold and serve immediately as a cold, refreshing snack. Store any leftovers in the freezer.

Notes

  • Use whole-milk Greek yogurt for creamier texture and richer flavor.
  • Feel free to substitute honey with maple syrup to keep it vegan-friendly.
  • Choose fruit according to season or preference for variety.
  • Silicone molds or ice cube trays work best for easy removal.
  • Keep frozen bites stored in an airtight container in the freezer for up to 2 weeks.
