Take your lazy man peach cobbler recipe up a notch with this improved version. A touch more flour and a hint of spice elevate this classic dessert to new heights.

Ingredients

Peach Filling:

  • 56 peaches

Batter:

  • 1 1/2 cups self-rising flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup butter (1 stick)
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1/2 tsp almond extract

Instructions

  1. Cut the peaches into wedges.
  2. Place the butter in the baking tray and place it in the oven. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees with the butter and the tray in the oven.

  3. Whisk the self-rising flour, sugar, and cinnamon in a medium bowl.
  4. Add in the milk, vanilla, and almond extracts and whisk until there are no lumps left. Pour on top of the butter.

  5. Layer the peaches on top of the batter.
  6. Bake for 45-50 minutes!
