Ingredients

Chocolate Mixture

  • 1 1/2 cups milk chocolate chips
  • 3 tablespoons milk
  • 1 1/3 cups miniature marshmallows

  • 4 cups miniature marshmallows

Instructions

  1. Melt Chocolate and Marshmallows: In a medium-sized saucepan, combine 1 1/2 cups milk chocolate chips, 3 tablespoons milk, and 1 1/3 cups miniature marshmallows. Heat over medium-high heat on the stovetop, stirring constantly until the mixture is smooth and melted, which should take a few minutes.
  2. Transfer to Baking Dish: Pour the melted chocolate mixture into a 9-inch pie dish and spread it evenly across the bottom of the dish to create a smooth chocolate base.
  3. Add Marshmallow Topping: Evenly sprinkle the remaining 4 cups of miniature marshmallows over the chocolate layer in the pie dish.
  4. Broil the Marshmallows: Preheat your oven’s broiler. Place the pie dish on an oven rack under the broiler and toast the marshmallows until they are golden and toasted, which will take about 2 minutes. Watch carefully to prevent burning.
