Creamy Tomato Pasta is a simple and delicious meal made from scratch with a rich, silky smooth cream and tomato-based sauce. This quick and easy recipe is ready in under 30 minutes using simple ingredients.

Ingredients

Pasta:

  • 8 ounces penne pasta, uncooked (1/2 pound)

Sauce:

  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 1 (15 ounce) can tomato sauce
  • 2 tablespoons tomato paste
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt (or to taste)
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, finely chopped

Instructions

  1. Cook Pasta: Boil salted water, cook pasta until al dente, drain, and set aside.
  2. Prepare Sauce: Sauté garlic in butter, add tomato sauce and paste, then simmer. Stir in cream and Parmesan until thickened. Season with salt and pepper.
  3. Combine: Toss cooked pasta in the sauce until well coated.
  4. Serve: Garnish with parsley and serve warm.

Notes
