Cake:
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup white granulated sugar
- 4 teaspoons baking powder
- 2 large eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 ½ cups milk
- ½ cup (1 stick) salted butter, melted (slightly cooled)
Cinnamon Filling:
- ¾ cup salted butter, softened to room temperature (1 1/2 sticks)
- 1 cup packed light brown sugar
- 2 Tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 1 Tablespoon ground cinnamon
Glaze:
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 5 Tablespoons milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- For the cake: Preheat oven to 350F degrees. Combine ingredients, mix, spread in baking dish.
- For the filling: Combine ingredients, spoon onto cake batter, swirl with a knife.
- Bake: Bake for 35-40 minutes until a knife comes out clean.
- For the glaze: Whisk ingredients together, adjust consistency, pour over warm cake.
