Delight in these easy-to-make Chocolate Strawberry Yogurt Clusters, a viral treat combining fresh strawberries, creamy Greek yogurt, and a rich chocolate coating. Perfect for a refreshing, healthy dessert or snack, these clusters require simple ingredients and just a few hours to freeze, making them an ideal guilt-free indulgence packed with flavor and texture.

Ingredients

Yogurt Mixture

  • 1 1/2 cups chopped strawberries
  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Chocolate Coating

  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 2 tbsp coconut oil

Instructions

  1. Mix Yogurt and Strawberries: In a large bowl, combine the chopped strawberries, plain Greek yogurt, honey, and vanilla extract. Stir thoroughly until the mixture is evenly blended and smooth.
  2. Form Clusters: Using a spoon, scoop about 2 tablespoons of the yogurt mixture per cluster and place each scoop onto a parchment paper-lined baking sheet or a large plate. Shape them into clusters; you should get about 10 clusters in total.
  3. Freeze Clusters: Transfer the baking sheet with the yogurt clusters into the freezer. Freeze them until they become completely solid, which takes approximately 1 to 2 hours.
  4. Melt Chocolate: Place the semi-sweet chocolate chips and coconut oil into a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave in 15 to 30-second intervals, stirring well between each interval until the chocolate and oil are fully melted and combined into a smooth coating.
  5. Coat Clusters in Chocolate: Remove the frozen clusters from the freezer. Using a spoon, dip each frozen cluster into the melted chocolate, ensuring they are fully coated. Place each chocolate-covered cluster back onto the parchment-lined sheet. Optionally, sprinkle with a pinch of sea salt for an enhanced flavor.
  6. Re-freeze: Return the chocolate-coated clusters to the freezer for a few minutes to allow the chocolate to harden and the yogurt to solidify again. Once set, the clusters are ready to enjoy as a delicious, refreshing treat.

Notes

  • Make sure the yogurt clusters are completely frozen before dipping in chocolate to prevent melting.
  • If you don’t have parchment paper, use a silicone baking mat to prevent sticking.
  • Use semi-sweet chocolate for a balance of sweetness and rich flavor; dark chocolate can be substituted for a less sweet option.
  • Sprinkling sea salt on the chocolate coating adds a delightful contrast to the sweet clusters.
  • Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the freezer to keep them fresh.
