Chocolate Delight is a layered pudding dessert featuring a pecan cookie crust, creamy cheesecake layer, chocolate and vanilla pudding layers, and topped with Cool Whip. A delicious and easy-to-make treat for chocolate lovers!

Ingredients

For the crust:

  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 3/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1 cup pecans, finely chopped

For the first layer:

  • 1 (8 oz.) package cream cheese, room temperature
  • 1 cup confectioners’ powdered sugar
  • 1 cup Cool Whip, thawed

For the second layer:

  • 1 (3.4 oz or 3.9 oz) package vanilla instant pudding
  • 1 (3.4 oz or 3.9 oz) package chocolate instant pudding
  • 3 cups whole milk

For the top:

  • Remaining Cool Whip
  • Grated chocolate (optional)

Instructions

  1. Crust layer: Mix flour, butter, and pecans; press into a 9×13-inch dish and bake at 325°F for 25 minutes. Cool completely.
  2. First layer: Mix cream cheese, powdered sugar, and 1 cup Cool Whip. Spread over crust and chill in the freezer for 20 minutes.
  3. Second layer: Mix vanilla and chocolate puddings with milk. Spread over cream cheese layer. Chill for 20 minutes in the freezer.
  4. Top: Spread remaining Cool Whip over the pudding layer. Sprinkle with grated chocolate if desired. Chill for at least 2 hours before serving.

Notes

  • Cool Whip comes in 8 or 12-ounce tubs.
  • Chill each layer before adding the next for best results.
  • Chocolate Delight can be made up to 3 days in advance.
