Ingredients

Dry Ingredients:

  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda

Wet Ingredients:

  • 2/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/3 cup light brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/3 cup sour cream
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 11 1/2 cups mashed bananas (3 medium-sized bananas)
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven: Preheat oven to 350 degrees F and prepare loaf pan.
  2. Cream butter and sugars: Cream butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar in a large bowl.
  3. Add eggs and flavorings: Mix in eggs, sour cream, and vanilla extract.
  4. Combine wet and dry: Add mashed bananas to the mixture.
  5. Combine dry ingredients: In a separate bowl, mix flour, baking powder, salt, and baking soda. Add to wet ingredients.
