Ingredients

Brownies:

  • 1 (14 ounce) bag individually wrapped caramels, unwrapped, divided
  • 1 (18.3 ounce) package fudge brownie mix (such as Betty Crocker®)
  • ½ cup vegetable oil
  • ¼ cup water
  • 2 large eggs

Toppings:

  • ¼ cup unsalted butter
  • 1 tablespoon milk
  • 1 cup chopped pretzels
  • ¾ cup chocolate chips
  • ⅓ cup chocolate-covered toffee bits

Instructions

  1. Preheat the Oven: Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Prepare Brownie Batter: Mix brownie mix, vegetable oil, water, and eggs until well combined. Pour into the baking dish.
  3. Add Caramels: Press caramel halves into the brownie batter, placing one in the center of each brownie.
  4. Bake: Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out almost clean.
  5. Prepare Caramel Topping: Microwave remaining caramels, butter, and milk until melted. Pour over warm brownies.
  6. Add Toppings: Sprinkle pretzels, chocolate chips, and toffee bits over the caramel. Cool before cutting into squares.
