Ingredients

1 pre-made pizza dough (or homemade dough)

1 cup ricotta cheese

1/2 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded

1 cup fresh blackberries

1/4 cup fresh basil leaves, chopped

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 tablespoon honey

Salt and pepper, to taste

Optional: Balsamic glaze for drizzling

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 475°F (245°C). If using a pizza stone, place it in the oven to heat.

  • Roll out the pizza dough on a lightly floured surface to your desired thickness. Place it on a pizza peel or a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

  • Brush the dough with olive oil and season with salt and pepper.

  • Spread the ricotta cheese evenly over the dough, leaving a border around the edges. Sprinkle mozzarella over the ricotta.

  • Distribute the blackberries and basil leaves over the cheese. Drizzle with honey.

  • Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese is melted.

  • If desired, drizzle with balsamic glaze before serving.

Notes

For a tangier flavor, swap ricotta with goat cheese.
