Quickly assembled and baked to perfection at 400°F, it’s a hearty and flavorful dish perfect for a casual gathering or game day feast.

Ingredients

For the Dough and Base

  • 1/3 cup Pastry Flour
  • 1 lb. Fresh Pizza Dough
  • Olive oil, for greasing pan (amount as needed)

For the Toppings

  • 1 cup BBQ Sauce
  • 1/4 tsp. Garlic Powder
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan Cheese
  • 1/2 lb. Muenster Cheese Block, sliced thick
  • 2 cups Mozzarella Cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 lb. Brisket, moist and chopped
  • 1 tsp. Parsley Flakes

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Dough: Spread the pastry flour evenly over a clean, dry countertop. Place the fresh pizza dough on the flour and begin shaping it into a 15 x 10-inch flat rectangle to fit your baking pan. If your pan is not non-stick, lightly grease the bottom with olive oil to prevent sticking.
  2. Add the Sauce and Seasonings: Evenly spread BBQ sauce over the shaped dough, leaving a border around the edges to form the crust. Sprinkle garlic powder and parmesan cheese evenly over the sauce to add extra flavor.
  3. Layer the Cheeses and Brisket: Slice the muenster cheese into thick slices and arrange over the BBQ sauce. Spread chopped brisket evenly over the muenster, reserving a handful for later. Then sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese on top. Add the remaining brisket pieces over the mozzarella and finish by sprinkling parsley flakes over the entire pizza.
  4. Bake the Pizza: Place the pizza in a preheated oven at 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Bake for 15 to 18 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  5. Cool and Serve: Remove the pizza from the oven and let it cool slightly before slicing. Serve warm and enjoy this delicious BBQ brisket pizza!

Notes

  • Use pastry flour for the dough shaping to prevent sticking and achieve a smooth texture.
  • If you have leftover brisket, this recipe is an excellent way to repurpose it into a delicious meal.
  • Adjust the BBQ sauce amount to your taste preference for spiciness or sweetness.
  • Allow the pizza to cool a few minutes before cutting to avoid cheese slide.
  • Use a pizza stone or baking steel if available for a crisper crust.
