This creamy and nutritious Avocado-Banana Shake is a quick and refreshing superfood drink perfect for a healthy snack or breakfast boost. Combining ripe avocado and banana with milk, a hint of cinnamon, and natural sweetener, it offers a smooth texture and rich flavor topped with toasted almond flakes for extra crunch.

Ingredients

Shake Ingredients

  • 2 ripe avocados
  • 2 ripe bananas
  • 600 ml cold milk (1.5% fat)
  • 2 tsp liquid honey (or agave syrup)
  • 1 pinch cinnamon

Topping

  • 1 tbsp almond flakes
  • Ice cubes (optional, as desired)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Avocados: Carefully halve the avocados with a knife and remove the pits. Scoop out the flesh with a spoon and place it into a blender or tall mixing vessel.
  2. Add Bananas and Mix: Peel the bananas and add them to the avocado in the blender. Pour in the cold milk, then add the honey and a pinch of cinnamon. Blend or puree everything thoroughly until you get a smooth shake. Divide the shake evenly into four glasses.
  3. Toast Almond Flakes & Serve: Heat a dry pan over medium heat and toast the almond flakes briefly until lightly browned and fragrant. Sprinkle the toasted almond flakes on top of the avocado shake. For an extra refreshing touch, add 1-2 ice cubes to each glass if desired. Serve immediately.

  • You can substitute milk with a plant-based alternative such as almond or oat milk to make it dairy-free.
  • Adjust honey quantity based on your preferred sweetness level.
