Ingredients

2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

1/2 cup buffalo sauce

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

Salt and pepper to taste

4 flour tortillas

1 cup shredded lettuce

1/2 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)

1/4 cup ranch dressing or blue cheese dressing

1 tablespoon chopped green onions (optional)

Instructions

  • Preheat the air fryer to 380°F (190°C).

  • Slice the chicken breasts into thin strips.

  • Toss the chicken strips with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.

  • Place the chicken strips in the air fryer basket in a single layer and cook for 8-10 minutes, shaking halfway through, until golden brown and cooked through.

  • Heat the buffalo sauce in a small saucepan over low heat.

  • Once the chicken is done, toss it in the buffalo sauce until well coated.

  • Warm the tortillas in the microwave for about 15 seconds to make them pliable.

  • To assemble, place a few pieces of buffalo chicken in the center of each tortilla. Top with shredded lettuce, cheese, and a drizzle of ranch or blue cheese dressing.

  • Roll up the tortillas tightly, folding in the sides as you go.

  • Place the wraps seam-side down in the air fryer and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes at 380°F (190°C) to crisp the wrap.

  • Remove from the air fryer and garnish with chopped green onions, if desired. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

  • You can use frozen chicken, but make sure it is fully thawed before slicing and seasoning.

  • For a vegetarian version, replace the chicken with cauliflower florets for a spicy buffalo cauliflower wrap.

  • If you want to reduce the heat, use a mild buffalo sauce or add less sauce.
