Air fryer sliced potatoes are crispy, golden rounds made with minimal oil and seasoned to perfection. A quick, easy, and healthier alternative to deep-fried potatoes, ideal as a side dish, appetizer, or snack.

Ingredients

4 medium potatoes (such as Russet or Yukon Gold)

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika (or regular paprika)

Salt and pepper, to taste

Fresh parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 380°F (193°C).
  2. Wash and peel (if desired) the potatoes, then slice them into 1/4-inch thick rounds.
  3. In a large bowl, toss the potato slices with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.
  4. Place the potato slices in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Work in batches if needed.
  5. Cook the potatoes for 15-18 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through.
  6. Remove from the air fryer and serve immediately. Garnish with chopped parsley if desired.

Notes

  • For extra crispiness, spray the potatoes lightly with cooking spray before air frying.
  • Do not overcrowd the basket to ensure even crisping.
  • You can customize the seasoning to your taste or add cheese or bacon for variety.
