Ingredients

2 salmon fillets (58 oz. each)

2 tablespoons honey

1 1/2 tablespoons low sodium soy sauce

1/4 teaspoon garlic powder or 1 teaspoon fresh garlic, minced

Optional Garnishes:

Black or white sesame seeds

Green onions, sliced

Instructions

  • In a small bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, and garlic. Divide the sauce in half.

  • Marinate the salmon fillets in half of the sauce for 30 minutes in the refrigerator.

  • Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).

  • Place marinated salmon fillets in the air fryer basket. Baste with some of the reserved sauce.

  • Air fry for 7-8 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.

  • Serve hot with the remaining sauce and optional garnishes like sesame seeds and sliced green onions

Notes

  • Spicy Variation: Add red pepper flakes or sriracha to the marinade.

  • Citrus Boost: Add a tablespoon of fresh lemon or lime juice.

  • Herb Option: Stir in fresh herbs like dill or parsley.

  • Sweet Swap: Maple syrup can be used instead of honey.

  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.

  • Reheat in the air fryer at 350°F for 3–4 minutes or microwave for 1–2 minutes.
