Ingredients

Main Ingredients:

  • 2 cups Yukon potatoes, grated.

Seasonings:

  • 1/4 tsp paprika.
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder.
  • 1/4 tsp kosher salt.
  • 1/8 tsp black pepper.

Additional:

  • Nonstick cooking spray.
  • Chives or parsley for garnish.

Instructions

  1. Peel and grate the potatoes: Use a box grater with large holes.
  2. Put the grated potatoes in a bowl of cold water, rinse until clear, and drain well.

  3. Pat dry the potatoes: Spread them on paper towels and dry thoroughly.
  4. Season the potatoes: In a bowl, mix the potatoes with paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  5. Prepare the air fryer: Spray the basket with nonstick spray.
  6. Cook the hash browns: Spread potatoes in the basket, spray lightly with oil, air fry at 350°F for 8 minutes.
  7. Stir and continue cooking: Gently stir the potatoes, air fry for an additional 6-8 minutes until crispy.
  8. Serve: Plate the hash browns, sprinkle with chives or parsley, and enjoy with eggs!

Notes

  • Preheating the air fryer isn’t required but can be done if recommended by the manual.
  • Rinsing potatoes in a colander may cause some to slip through the holes.
