Delicious and crispy Air Fryer Corn Ribs made by cutting corn on the cob into quarters, seasoning with butter, salt, and spices, then air frying until tender and browned. Served with a flavorful Cajun butter for an irresistible snack or side dish that’s quick and easy to prepare.

Ingredients

Corn Ribs

  • 4 ears Corn on the Cob (Shucked and trimmed)
  • 3 tbsp Butter (melted)
  • 1 tsp Salt

Cajun Butter

  • 4 tbsp Butter (melted)
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 2 tsp Cajun Seasoning (more or less to taste)
  • 1 tbsp Fresh Parsley (Chopped)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer: If your air fryer model requires preheating, set it to 425℉ and allow it to heat up fully before cooking.
  2. Prepare the corn: Carefully cut each ear of corn into four lengthwise quarters, creating ‘ribs’ that expose the kernels and allow for better seasoning and browning.
  3. Season the corn: Brush the cut corn pieces generously with 3 tablespoons of melted butter and sprinkle evenly with 1 teaspoon of salt to enhance flavor.
  4. Air fry the corn ribs: Place the corn ribs in a single layer inside the air fryer basket. Depending on your air fryer size, cook in batches if needed. Air fry for 15 minutes at 425℉, flipping each piece halfway through and brushing with additional melted butter to help browning and tenderness. Remove once the corn is tender, edges browned, and cobs slightly curled inward.
  5. Make the Cajun butter: While the corn cooks, combine 4 tablespoons of melted butter, 1 teaspoon garlic powder, 2 teaspoons Cajun seasoning, and 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley in a small bowl. Mix well to create a flavorful dipping sauce or brush-on accompaniment.
  6. Serve: Serve the air-fried corn ribs hot with the Cajun butter either as a dip or brushed onto the corn just before eating. Enjoy this crispy, flavorful snack or side!

Notes

  • Shucking and trimming the corn properly ensures even cooking and crispiness.
  • Adjust the amount of Cajun seasoning to your desired spice level.
  • Use fresh parsley for a vibrant and fresh garnish in the Cajun butter.
  • Air fryer sizes vary; avoid overcrowding for best results and cook in batches if necessary.
  • You can substitute the Cajun seasoning with other spice blends such as smoked paprika or chili powder for variety.
