Air Fryer Apples are a quick, easy, and delicious treat that are sweet, tender, and slightly crispy. Perfect for a healthy snack or a simple dessert, these apples are customizable with various flavor and sweetness options.

Ingredients

4 medium-sized apples (your choice of variety)

1 tablespoon of cinnamon

1 tablespoon of brown sugar or honey (optional for added sweetness)

1 teaspoon of lemon juice

1 tablespoon of butter (optional for extra richness)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Core and slice the apples into wedges or rounds, depending on your preference.
  3. In a large bowl, toss the apple slices with cinnamon, brown sugar or honey, and lemon juice. If using butter, melt it and drizzle over the apples, then toss to coat.
  4. Arrange the apple slices in a single layer in the air fryer basket, making sure they are evenly spaced.
  5. Air fry for 10-12 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until the apples are tender and slightly crispy on the edges.
  6. Serve immediately. You can enjoy them as is or top with whipped cream or ice cream for a sweeter indulgence.

Notes

  • For a sweeter option, drizzle with caramel sauce or maple syrup after cooking.
  • You can add chopped nuts such as walnuts or pecans before cooking for extra crunch.
  • For a vegan option, use coconut oil or plant-based butter instead of regular butter.
  • Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
  • To reheat, place the apples back in the air fryer at 350°F for 3-5 minutes.
