Celebrate Independence Day with these easy and festive 4th of July Chocolate Covered Strawberries. Made with juicy strawberries, creamy white chocolate, and patriotic sprinkles, this no-bake treat is perfect for summer parties, BBQs, and holiday dessert tables.
24 fresh strawberries, washed and thoroughly dried
1 cup white candy melts or white chocolate melting wafers
½ cup red, white, and blue nonpareil sprinkles
Prepare Strawberries: Wash and thoroughly dry strawberries with a paper towel to prevent chocolate from seizing.
Melt Chocolate: Microwave candy melts or white chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth.
Dip Strawberries: Hold each strawberry by the stem and dip about two-thirds into the melted chocolate.
Add Sprinkles: Immediately dip the lower third of the chocolate-covered strawberry into sprinkles.
Set Strawberries: Place on a wax or parchment paper-lined baking sheet.
Harden: Refrigerate if using white chocolate or let sit at room temperature if using candy melts until fully set (about 30 minutes).
Serve: Once hardened, serve and enjoy!
