Ingredients

24 fresh strawberries, washed and thoroughly dried

1 cup white candy melts or white chocolate melting wafers

½ cup red, white, and blue nonpareil sprinkles

Instructions

  • Prepare Strawberries: Wash and thoroughly dry strawberries with a paper towel to prevent chocolate from seizing.

  • Melt Chocolate: Microwave candy melts or white chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth.

  • Dip Strawberries: Hold each strawberry by the stem and dip about two-thirds into the melted chocolate.

  • Add Sprinkles: Immediately dip the lower third of the chocolate-covered strawberry into sprinkles.

  • Set Strawberries: Place on a wax or parchment paper-lined baking sheet.

  • Harden: Refrigerate if using white chocolate or let sit at room temperature if using candy melts until fully set (about 30 minutes).

  • Serve: Once hardened, serve and enjoy!

Notes

  • Make sure strawberries are completely dry to avoid chocolate seizing.

  • For a colorful twist, drizzle with red and blue tinted white chocolate instead of using sprinkles.

  • Use vegan white chocolate and sprinkle alternatives for a vegan option.

  • Store in a single layer in an airtight container and refrigerate if not serving right away.
