  • 2/3 cup (100g) chopped walnuts or pecans

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and line a 9” x 9” baking pan with parchment paper, or use an 8” x 8” cake pan as an alternative.
  2. Mash Bananas: In a bowl, mash the ripe bananas thoroughly until most chunks are gone and the mixture is creamy.
  3. Add Almond Butter: Stir in the creamy almond butter with the mashed bananas until the mixture is thick and evenly combined.
  4. Mix Dry Ingredients: Add rolled oats and chocolate chips to the banana-almond butter mixture, stirring until everything is well combined.
  5. Prepare Pan: Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking pan and spread it into an even layer.
  6. Bake Bars: Bake on the center rack for 18 to 25 minutes or until the edges turn golden brown and the bars are set.
  7. Cool and Serve: Allow the bars to cool completely in the pan before slicing into 16 servings and enjoying.
