Enjoy a healthy and delicious treat with this 3-Ingredient Homemade Strawberry Fruit Roll-Ups recipe. Made from simple ingredients like fresh or thawed strawberries, honey, and lemon juice, these fruit roll-ups are naturally sweetened and perfect for snacking. The slow oven dehydration method transforms the fruit puree into chewy, flavorful strips without any artificial additives.

Ingredients

Fruit Roll-Up Ingredients

  • 3 cups strawberries (frozen and thawed or fresh)
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven: Set your oven to the lowest temperature possible, ideally between 140 to 170 degrees Fahrenheit. Line a sheet pan with parchment paper to prevent sticking and set it aside.
  2. Prepare Fruit Mixture: Combine strawberries, honey, and lemon juice in a food processor or blender. Blend until the mixture is completely smooth and uniform in texture.
  3. Spread the Mixture: Pour the blended fruit mixture evenly onto the lined sheet pan. Use a spatula to spread it out to a thickness between 1/8 to 1/4 inch to ensure even drying.
  4. Dehydrate the Fruit: Place the sheet pan in the oven and bake for 4 to 6 hours. The time depends on your oven’s exact temperature. The fruit mixture is ready when it is no longer tacky in the center but still pliable.
  5. Cool and Cut: Allow the fruit leather to cool completely on the pan. Once cool, carefully peel it off, trim the edges with scissors or a pizza cutter, and cut into 1-inch wide strips for easy snacking.
  6. Serve and Enjoy: Your homemade strawberry fruit roll-ups are ready to eat—store any leftovers in an airtight container to maintain freshness.
